Formerly Loose Cannon - American Hop3 Ale
Burnished gold with a rich citrus hop aroma, it is wonderfully drinkable with a big hop flavor. We’ve knicknamed it Hop3 (hop cubed) ale to reflect the enormous amount of hops in this beer: over 3 pounds per barrel! It is hopped 3 ways: in the kettle, in the hop back, and dry hopped.

12oz bottle served in a pint glass.
best buy: Jan notched.
pours a nice, translucent medium amber with a big frothy 2+" head; good retention and lacing. great looking IPA.
nose opens with floral / pine / citrus characters, secondary notes of malt... doesn't jump out of the glass the way my favorite IPAs do, but very nice nonetheless.
taste follows and exceeds the aroma. very nice balance between the hop notes and the malt backbone. medium bodied mouthfeel with average carbonation. very tasty.
overall an excellent IPA, tasty and enjoyable. highly recommended.

A Maryland go-to malty IPA. It’s a good drinkable choice every time!

A heavy malty (not a New England) IPA.
