Upon pour, it's nice and coppery, LOOKS a bit less malty than a "Hop3 Ale" would suggest--if that makes sense. Great head, sticky islands of lace left behind by the dissipation.
It smells great. Is that 3-row malt? Prolly not, but mmm. Nice hop character, grassy and fruity at the same time. MMM. Only weird thing (and this isn't my glass' fault) I smell a bit of underlying... soap? Scented soap? Yes. Alcohol comes through in scent and taste as it sits.
Great taste too. A bit of an alcohol bite brings it's drinkability down. There's a lemon tang in the middle of my tongue (but it dies as the open bottle sits), with sweet malt encasing. A nice hop finish leaves me feeling green. I'll have two of the three in my 12-pack, but the third might be too much.
This is why I review: at outset, I didn't find it too drinkable a beer, nor was it all that outstanding. I've let it sit, and I've analyzed it, and I've realized the sum of parts is greater than the whole's first impression.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Two finger head, clear golden color. Nose is citrusy (orange/grapefruit/pineapple) and hoppy - smells incredible.
Taste is similar to the smell, but the hops are more pronounced. Not overly carbonated. For a triple hopped IPA it isn't as aggressive in the hop flavors as it could be - not for drinking quickly, but definitely more drinkable than some similar beers. Could probably appeal to hopheads and those less enthusiastic about aggressive beers.
Overall a very good beer, one I'd like to keep around. Glad I picked it up on my way back from Baltimore.

On tap in a pint glass.
A- Golden-orange color, big off-white head, fluffy. ample amounts of all kinds of lacing. Bubbly.
S- Piney hop aroma, some citrus and malts.
T- It's malty paired with those piney hops and earthy floral flavor.
M- Big body, thick and resinous. Well carbonated. Long hope bite finish.
O- Big hop profile that is not overly bitter. Better tan I expected.
