On-tap 7/10/13 at Doherty’s East Irish Pub in Pawtucket, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep dark brown color, with a short off-white head that fades very slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains roasted malts, some chocolate, some coffee and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out very sweet with flavors of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Then a very hearty roasted malt character comes in. The hops presence is very faint but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium-to-heavy body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down dangerously easy, slightly filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid flavorful stout to drink for a long time.

22oz bottle from Hop City (Atlanta, GA). 7.99. 2013 release that I've been sitting on since January, I think. Served in a Three Floyds teku.
Pours black with almost two fingers of dense pale tan head that lingers. Head eventually settles to a halo and wispy clouds on the surface that leave small islands of lace on the glass.
Smells sweet and rich with milk chocolate, vanilla and creamed coffee.
Taste is quite nice. A rich, smooth blend of chocolate, vanilla, soft but flavorful bourbon, roast malts, oak, burnt caramel and molasses. A little booze bite towards the end but it is quite well integrated within those layers of flavor.
Medium full and creamy body with subtle yet present carbonation. Sweet bourbon chocolate truffle finish.
I've always enjoyed the base Siren Noire but this is so much better! Rich, smooth and creamy with very a satisfying blend of flavors. Heavy Seas has been doing a great job on the Uncharted Waters series this year. All three that I've tried so far have been an outstanding value (at under ten bucks for quality barrel aged beer) and certainly worth a try. It won't blow your mind but this is solid work. I wish I had a couple more.

S: Chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, bourbon. Very complex and smells great
T: Matches the smell. Like liquid chocolate with hints of vanilla and bourbon. Nice roasted malt, a bit of burnt caramel & just a kiss of hops. Very comples & tasty
M: Medium to full-bodied, smooth
O: This is a very well made, tasty beer; I wish I had more than one bottle
