Whitbread. Sounds like a grain mill, but whatever.
The beer pours with a creamy white head. The color of the ale is a musty orange with some hints of red in the light.
The smell is all sugary butterscotch, with a shot of brandy. Quite enticing.
The flavor is a great initial creamy malt, with flavors of ginger and grain. This fades into a bit of yeasty aftertaste, of which I believe is not as appealing as the first flavor.
This is definately a frothy, creamy, milky beer.
Easy, easy, easy to drink--but the same way chocolate milk is. Not enough bite or distinctive flavor for me. However, harmless and quite filling.

Bottle at The Three Judges, Glasgow. ABV is 3.4%. Amber colour, decent head. Moderate aroma of cellar, dust and caramel. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has toffee and biscuits, with barely acceptable hops in the finish.

Yeah, it's just OK out of the bottle cold. Cellar temp knocks it up a point in flavor and aroma. On tap, it is another ball game. This has been far and away the most popular draft beer I have sold in my 40 year restaurant career so far . It just fit the old colonial early american atmosphere of my tavern so well, it was a natural.
