Dark, dark black color with no real head, but a bit of dark brown froth on top. No lacing. Smell and taste are both very sweet. Most notable are chocolate, maple, toffee, caramel. It's pretty much like candy. Taste is a bit more robust than the smell. Very creamy flavor. Mouthfeel is much too thin, though I found the carbonation to be adequate. Surprising low ABV makes for a great session beer. However, I wasn't overly impressed with this one. Solid, to be sure, but not outstanding.

Pours a deep dark brown with a finger of beige head that retains quite nicely and leaves a good amount of lace behind on the glass. The nose is mildly roasty. The roast in the flavor profile is very mild and is almost completely overwhelmed by the sugary sweetness that lasts into the finish.
I know that milk stouts are supposed to be sweet but the best of this style balance the sweetness with some nice roasted malt flavor. This offering falls too far into the sweet category for my liking.
