Pours a deep black with a huge, frothy dark-brown head. Lacing sticks like frosted ice.
The aroma is a very nice rich creamy milk chocolate. Hints of burnt ash and coffee. Sometimes when reviewing beers I've noticed that aromas can take a back seat once the first sip has occured. The best part of this beer is that the aroma is so strong, it is a major component of the beer even while drinking the last swallow.
Flavor consists of a creamy milk chocolate. Heavy cream flavor. There is a slight slick and sour flavor that could lead it down the wrong path, but in this case just makes the experience more interesting.
Mouthfeel is surprising because it reminds me of what I'd get off of a tap. Low carbonation, a certain flavor, not sure what it is. Nice feeling coming out of a bottle.
Drinkability is high if you like flavorful stouts. Extremely enjoyable. Mine was served somewhat warm. A real treat as I found it in the 'junk' bin while checking out at Woodman's. I asked the checkout guy how much it was and he said the bottle was 95 cents. Hell yea.

Pours a deep dark brown with a finger of beige head that retains quite nicely and leaves a good amount of lace behind on the glass. The nose is mildly roasty. The roast in the flavor profile is very mild and is almost completely overwhelmed by the sugary sweetness that lasts into the finish.
I know that milk stouts are supposed to be sweet but the best of this style balance the sweetness with some nice roasted malt flavor. This offering falls too far into the sweet category for my liking.
