Pours a clear, gold/copper color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of slight citrus hops, hint of floral hops, yeast, slight sweet malt, and slight alcohol. A mellow aroma, but good. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a strong bitterness and slight dryness. Tastes of slight citrus hops, hint of pine, slight sweet malt, slight yeast, and slight alcohol. Overall, very fresh tasting, but also very bitter and dry.

Pours a lightly pale yellow color with just a touch of haze. Head is nice two finger of off white foam that falls slow and laces well.
Aroma is over ripe citrus, mango and orange mainly with good earthy herbal notes floating on a caramel malt base that's underneath. Definitely hop forward but hops are lightly under powered compared to some IPA's, not that it isn't good just don't kick your nose hairs in when you crack the bottle.
Taste is like the aroma good hops defiantly over power the caramel malt but there not bright. More deep over ripe fruit and earthy like some good sticky bud perhaps. Almost 3 moths old so not too over aged seems like they were doing for this which is nice. Very pleasant to drink good hops without leaving your mouth over coated with hop resins.
Mouthfeel is nice a bigger medium with average level of CO2.
Overall this is different from most IPA's but I have to say if they still have some left I will be buying this one again for a nice change. Drinks more like a light weight old ale kind of.

Poured into a pint glass out of a 750ml bottle.
Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with a fluffy one finger white head. Honorable head retention and some pretty nice globs of lacing hanging onto the sides of the glass.
I love the hops in the aroma. Tons of grapefruit along with a quite prominent herbal/dank note. While there really isn't any malt present, Yazoo really nails the hop combination making this aroma mouth-watering.
The flavor closely follows the aroma with grapefruit dominating but the herbal notes are a little more muted. Similar to the aroma there is a distinct lack of malt character which is a bit disappointing. There is a touch of light bread that becomes noticable as the beer warms but it still isn't much. Mouthfeel is a bit weak although there is a light silkiness added by the wheat and oats. Fairly dry finish with a moderate bitterness.
Overall, this is a really good beer from Yazoo. While it could use some more malty notes and a bit more body, it is very drinkable and very enjoyable.

Freshness: Bottled on 12-03-2013
Packaging: 22 oz. brown bottle, pry-cap
Purchased: Single from Pour Vous, Hendersonville, TN
Golden in color, with some orange tint, the beer is topped by a rocky white head. Lacing is excellent. Each pour is more cloudy than the last and the end of the bottle reveals lots of sediment, presumably hop particles. The smell features big citrus hop aromas with tropical fruit notes and pine as well.
The taste follows suite from the aromas, with a bold hop bitterness and flavors of grapefruit, lemon and pine. The body is light (the label calls it a 'light-bodied IPA'), perhaps from the wheat added. Carbonation is high and the mouthfeel is very crisp and clean. The beer finishes with bitter citrusy hops.
A nice treat of an IPA to celebrate Yazoo's 10th anniversary. Looking forward to the next ten years!
