Sort of the color of apricot juice - you know, the kind in a 48 oz. can labelled "Breakfast Cocktail" from back in the 1960s? No? Trust me, that's the color. White head starts out impressive, then fades to lace. Big time Amarillo aroma - tangerine and grapefruit, slight pine, really sharp, faint toasty malts in the background.
Really assertive hoppiness in this one - front to back, first sip to last, Amarillo hoppiness, firm bitterness, and a toasty malt background. Simple, yet highly effective. Spritzy mouthfeel, and definitely worth having a couple.
Thanks to BA Potsie for the bottles!
