A: Pours a hazy to cloudy apricot in color with some moderate to heavy amounts of visible carbonation and some faint golden yellow + orange highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense foamy white head that very slowly reduces to a medium sized thick patch of dense foam towards the center of the glass with a thin film covering the majority of the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pale malts and spicy saison yeast with notes of black pepper + clove underneath a stronger aroma of brett funkiness. Notes of barnyard are present as well as some hay-like smells.
T: Moderate flavors of pale malts with spicy saison yeast which includes light to moderate notes of black pepper + clove. There is a light to moderate presence of light fruitiness including a distinct flavor of sharp green apple. There are moderate amounts of funkiness and tartness from the brett along with some spicy rye notes.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Slight amounts of acidic prickliness and a moderate to strong amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Again a good but not great offering, I have had a few other brett saisons and I think my expectations were a little too high for this brew. That being said, this is an enjoyable beer and certainly worth trying.

Batch one. Bottle just says "brett saison" along with "embrace the funk" but the description mentions rye malt so I assume this is the correct beer.
A: Pours a nice slightly hazy orange. Small fizzy white head that disappears quickly. Almost no lacing.
S: Really nice fruitiness. Tart pineapple and oranges stand out. Apricot too. Tartness more apparent when swirled, really get some lemon peel in there.
T: Oh yeah, tart for sure. Tart lemons up front. Lots of other fruits in there. Again with the apricot and lemons. Maybe mango? Pineapple towards the finish and lingering in the aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied, nice and smooth. Decently tart and acidic to boot.
O: Nice brett saison. Reminds me of the Brett Saison from Boulevard. Not super tart, not super funky but it's there. Lots of great fruit flavors, however. Very enjoyable.
