500ml bottle purchased from Platinum Liquor in Bellevue Hill. Shared with Sam.

Pours a faintly hazed copper-tinged golden, with an initially firm but ultimately filmy head of clean white. Bubbling forms at the edges, forming larger specks amongst the fine coating. Lacing forms in streaks and specks. Body is pretty solid, and holds some tight, fine carbonation. Not bad all up.

Nose is lovely and sharp, with some direct, almost pointy citrus characters directly through the centre. It has a lovely greenness which suggests even some NZ hop character. Underpinning it is a mild husky grain character, which doesn't add a lot of sweetness, but provides a slight savoury basis. It's very pleasant.

Taste is also very good indeed. Brisk hops through the centre form the lynchpin, with a very clean, citric bitterness, tinged with a slightly green herbal character. Together they meld into a lovely pure hoppiness. Around the edges is just enough malt to provide some structure, and above are the lovely delicate aromatics, some rose, geranium and marzipan. It's genuinely lovely stuff, and a very beautiful IPA palate.

Feel is light and tingly, with the hops helped along their path by a fine carbonation.

Overall, I'm very impressed. I've had several beers from Moor now, and they are all solid. With this one, they've made the jump to excellent. Very good stuff indeed.

Pours a burnished gold colour; clear. Head is off-white, dense, pretty good retention and great lacing. Looks great.

Nose is very fruity and succulent hops: mango and kiwi, pawpaw as well as a cake batter malt base. Could use more grounding, but it's pleasant.

Taste is also very hoppy: plenty of that fruit punch upfront. Mango, touch of guava, yeah sweet stonefruit mostly. Not much of a punch at the end, slight bitterness but it's quite mild, and lets the fruit notes remain dominant. Nice enough, but not really my thing.

Nice body, good presence. Dries up subtly at the back. Great texture.

Easy-drinking hoppy beer. Would like more gravitas though, it's a little too bright and sparkly.

Pours pale amber with a fading head.
Nose shows some fruity hops along with pine and resinous notes. Also some floral characters and clean malt.
Fairly aggressive flavours. Big pine and grapefruit notes with accompanying sharp bitterness. Some biscuity malt underneath.
Could use a bit more carbonation.

Deep amber with some speckles and trailers of white lace.
Big fresh hop sack nose with tangerine and light caramel.
Dark caramel with sticky, resiny California hopping. Gooey, citrussy finish and toffee and lemon rind linger.
Medium, chewy, oily.

Nice DIPA level of flavor. Good malt backbone and lots of bright orange notes. Not worth the price tag, though.

A 660ml bottle with a BB of Sept 2014. ABV is stated as 6.7%. Picked up a while back from Beeritz. As the label says, Hoppiness = Happiness.

Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. A bright orange-amber hue with medium carbonation. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a surface layer. Slight lacing. Aroma of faint fruity hops with hints of white fruits, grass, caramel malt, subtle grain and ale yeast. Rather subdued.

Tastes of mildly fruity hops and yeast with a spicy, bitter finish. Notes of faint grapefruit, peel, mild citrus, white grape, grass/hay, a twinge of pine resin, earthy yeast, caramel malt and stewed hops. The booze is nicely hidden. Well-attenuated, followed by a spicy, hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with light carbonation and good body. Hop oils stimulate the palate. Quite astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, earthy yeast and faint caramel.

Not bad, though not as intense as I had anticipated. Perhaps I've hung on to it for longer than I should have. Looks nice, however the aroma is rather ambiguous and lacklustre. The flavour is better; more hop aroma and an assertive bitterness that lingers. Good body. There's a lesson here - drink the hoppy ones first. Goes down nicely, worth sampling if you have the chance (just don't sit on it).

a nicely done IPA with plenty of flavour and hops - enjoyable

aroma: plenty of malty-citrus goodness with grapefruit predominating

taste: grapefruit, pine, spice, eucalyptus and orange peel with slight citrus and white wine and rich malt to balance it out nicely

a highly recommended IPA with plenty going for it
