A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a collar around the edge and a bit of lacing on the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pale malts and apple juice are present in the nose.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell and tastes like some apple juice was mixed into a pale lager. Hints of corn adjuncts are also noticeable.
M: It feels light-bodied and slightly watery on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is easy to drink but doesn't have much in the way of interesting aromas or flavors.

Brought from Kiev to Moscow by a colleague, this brew comes in a brown plastic one liter bottle with a fairly good multi-colored label featuring some 18th century church, the word “beer” in five languages, and a few other phrases in Ukrainian. The rest of the label is exclusively in that tongue. Ingredients include ascorbic acid. Best before 3/26/04, I opened it on 1/22/04.

The liquid is clear medium gold. I poured the first pint carefully, and got just a very thin white head that disappeared distressingly quickly. I gave the second pint a hard pour, and was rewarded with a nice 2.5 fingered head with contour and some staying power - much better. The nose was mild, with just a touch of malt. The mouth was pretty heavy and thick, with medium carbonation. The taste opens with a twinge of metal amongst the maltiness. The finish is a touch sweet, followed later by a mild but respectable hoppy bite. The aftertaste is a bit tinny, but not unpleasant. I’m not feeling any excitement here, but the beer isn’t bad.

500 ml bottle from Lviv

Pours golden with some head which dissipates quite fast, but very thin layer stays for considerable amount of time, there is also some lacing. Aroma is malty with some light grassy hops. Taste is a bit bittery spicy first, but them maltiness sets in with sweetish finish. Not much of aftertaste, just some light bitterness. Mouth is not light, a bit above medium.

Quite nice pale lager.

No-no, corn, dye E150. Obviously, I'll mark this solution down.
Nevertheless, pours good clear golden beer with decent white head, leaving lots nice laces. Poor aroma of malt with hop hints, elusive strange chemical notes can be detected. Taste of sharp metallic malts with moderate bitter finish. Eventually, not so bad. Good carbonation and acceptable palate.
