Big thanks goes out to a certain kind BA who sent me this bottle, just to help me knock another state off my list. Twelve ounce bottle was served cold, right out of the fridge and poured into a pint glass. Consumed on 11/26/2008.
This one poured out a nice and lightly hazed amber color. Some carbonation was visible streaming up from the bottom of the glass and this formed into a nice sized white head on the top of the glass. Some settling produced a nice looking lacing on the sides.
The aroma was nice, a touch light but what was there was very pleasing. Rich notes of bready malts, and a touch of light hops dancing throughout. Carried over well into the flavor. Nice light touches of hops that punctuated a mostly malty red ale. Smooth carbonation and a not too heavy profile led to this being a nice and very sessionable little ale.
Overall not bad at all. A quality little beer that I would have no issue with trying again any day. Glad I got a chance to try this one.

Second time having this didn't taste it the first time because I thought it might be old. Caramel in color with a tan head and lacing. Smells of malt and unfortunately like the first time green peppers. Get a slight nuttiness with the malt but also getting that green pepper in the flavor. Very off putting. I would pass on this

This brew is a clear, brownish amber colored liquid with a tall off-white head. The aroma has a little malt and toasted notes. Light herbal hop scent as well. The taste is mildly sweet, with the malt and toast notes shining through. Medium full in body. Straightforward and satisfying amber ale.

From the can, it pours a clear amber with a modest head that soon diminishes to a large continent and a ring. Malt in the nose. Caramel malt in the mouth. Interestingly, it appears to be brewed by the Weston Brewery, Weston, MO.

Pours a slightly hazy reddish orange color with off-white head. Caramel malt, nuts, and a little pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with nuts and toffee.
