I recently made my second visit to the Bond Street Pub Before a Steve Earle concert at the Tower theater in Bend. The room has a slightly corporate feel, like a committee designed a room that's supposed to feel "local. You also get bombarded by Deschutes merch.

The quality of the brews is top notch, as expected from Deschutes. Even the examples of the mainline brews (Mirror Pond, Black Butte etc.) are brewed on-site, making a bit fresher and tastier than usual.

I haven't eaten here but all the food I've seen has looked to be above average examples. The prices were a touch high, but you're in a tourist/destination town and that's to be expected.

Overall, a nice little spot, certainly worth a visit. (710 characters)

Good place to start beer trekking in Bend, decent food and a wide range of Deschutes brews. Some exclusive. Heavy tourist traffic. (130 characters)

Right in the heart of down town bend. We sat upstairs and overlooked the street as we ate great food and drank OUTSTANDING beers. Server was very nice and the atmosphere was great. I look forward to going here every time we go to Bend. (235 characters)

Great service here for the most part, and if you're into beer you should know to expect some really nice stuff here. There were some problems in the kitchen. Our server brought us the appetizer we ordered, and then less than two minutes later brought us our entrees! To top it off, my mashed potatoes were cold. Seems like quite a rookie mistake that I'm surprised no one in the kitchen caught. (395 characters)

I stopped by the Deschutes brewpub while I was on a recent pilgrimage to Bend and had three beers and a late lunch. I can't wait to return!

Service was great and, as might be supposed, the staff knew a lot about the beer being served and were able to make recommendations. There were a number of seasonal and brewpub-only beers available, a fact of which I look forward to taking advantage the next time I visit. I can't speak much to the atmosphere inside, as I drank and dined al fresco and did some people-watching in old-town Bend. Folks are friendly there, I'll give them that!

The reuben I had was so huge that I was unable to finish it, despite a long, lunchless drive from Seattle. Beware! You will have leftovers. (729 characters)
