Green bottle, 330ml, best before Sept 2007, drank 1st Feb 2007.
This Kingfisher was brewed under licence by Sheppard Neame (of Spitfire fame), the UK version is 4.8%, but you would never guess it.
Very light in colour, a pale golden yellow, as most lagers are, so appearance is OK. The white head just disappeared in my 0.4 litre Berliner Kindl straight sleeved glass, by wifes, which was poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru glass, stayed longer and the neck around the edge of the glas stayed until she finished the beer. Maybe my manly odours killed the head on my glass.
Lagers don't have great aroma's, well I don't think so, anyway. This one smells dry and boring.
The taste is also dry and boring, might be fine with a curry, but as a stand alone drink, it is poor.
What mouthfeel? There is no taste for a mouthfeel to be reviewed, all that was left after each drink was desire to have a beer, and stop drinking this.
I still have 2 of this 4 pack left, I hope someone I don't like visits soon.
New Bit:
Had on-tap at an Indian Curry House (Dec 2011), a lot better when taken with a hot dish, as I intimated in my original review. Not altered the scores, just letting anybody/everybody know it isn't as bad as my score indicates!

Purchased from local grocer for $2
No bottling/BB date
Poured at fridge temp into a pokal glass
Pours an attractive clear golden with little to no head/lacing 3.25
Very faint malt on the nose and not much else, even as it warmed. 2.75
Fairly seltzer/soda like with not much flavor, perhaps a touch of hops, aaaand that's it. 1.75
Biting carbo, but not overwhelming, light and lightly dry finish. 3
Overall a pretty and good feeling beer that misses big on aroma and taste, but hey, they can't all be spectacular! 2.75

This is a refreshing beer. You can drink it anywhere and it blends in with spicy food. Overall, this Beer has the perfect malty taste and at the same time it gives a flavor of dried orange peels. This beer shall be marketed all over the world. Its richness in malt and flavor makes it so drinkable. Thank you.

Clear light golden appearance with sparse lazy film of surface head. Grass, arugula, herb, peat. Light to medium body, light carbonation. Some off flavors that I’m having a hard time identifying.

May 2003: (330 ml bottle, brewed by Shepherd Neame, England). I have probably used this beer to wash down some Indian food in England, had to buy it again in Norway to rate it without food (by special order, it's normally sold only in our Indian restarants). Besides being wet and thus fit to help you survive a hot curry, this beer has nothing "Indian" or any other quality that should put it on a beer geek's wish list. Light golden colour, low head, Heineken-like aroma, uninteresting flavour but at least a hint of bitterness. Typical mediocre lager, not good, but not as bad as I expected.
