appearance: Crystal clear, very pale nice head forms quickly
smell: sweet hops are strong in this one. Bit hard on the nostrils
taste: Not impressed especially for the brewery. It tastes like a Busch League pils (no pun intended)
mouthfeel: A bit watery and over hoppy for my tastes
overall: Frankly a disappointment. I would not get this beer again as I would get most of their other, kind of a shame.

I got this at Bierkraft in Brooklyn while picking up a wet hop Blue Point bottle. This refreshing and tasty beer is very bright in the glass poured from the 500 ml bottle. Golden hay notes overlay the malt nose. Great balanced flavor with plenty of heft for a helles. Even better as it warms up. This is a very well made, extremely enjoyable beer.

Pale straw gold, rapid carbonation visible. Billowing foam settles to a clingy, soapy white collar after a few minutes. Bright clarity, maybe the slightest haze towards the end of the bottle.
Aromas of minerals, grass, and fresh bread.
Bready malt, lemon pith, quenching with a dry grassy finish. Very clean, Light bodied, crisp and well carbonated. It has a prototypical and flawless Helles blueprint. Very drinkable and worth trying if you like the style.

Poured into a Schaumburger pilsner glass. Pours a light golden amber with a half finger white head with good retention due to active carbonation, moderate lacing. Aroma of bready with hints of biscuit malt, grassy hops and lemon. Flavor is slightly sweet bready and biscuit malt, grassy, slightly peppery hops, light citrus and a touch of wheat. A nice, lingering light lemon, hop and malt aftertaste to the finish. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. A light, pleasant helles lager that hits all the right notes. Flavor is not intense, but appropriate for the style. A very nice beer for drinking with a meal for non intrusive malt and hops. Sessionable.

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thick collar around the edge of the glass and some bubbles on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of floral and grassy hops as well as. Ready malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste mostly resembles the smell, except that the malty flavors seem to stand out a little more in front of the hops, the latter of which contribute
M: It feels medium-bodied and very clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is an excellent representation of the style and has lots of flavors of malts and hops. If you put a blindfold on me, I could picture myself drinking this in a Biergarten in Germany.

Stepped outside myself and ordered a beer with the tap handle I liked best. It was white with a brilliant lizard green country scene.
Gold with a white head and an eye catching tap handle for whatever that's worth. Doughy and slightly grassy floral aroma. Tastes spring-y green apple and and honey. Full, plush body. I've had a few good lagers lately (Tarnation comes to mind) but this is the best of the bunch.
The good tap handle =good beer theory works. Sometimes.

16.9oz bottle purchased as a single from Beverage Warehouse, Winooski, VT.
Poured into an imperial pint, formed a 1/2" white head over the clear very light golden brew. Head lasts well, with lasting chunky lacing. Aroma is sedate and balanced.
Taste is sweet to start, touch of citrus in the middle, to a rounded bitter close. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, smooth, and drinkability is nice and easy. Session-worthy.

Super hot day, this should go down nicely.
Pours crystal clear, golden pilsner color, some bubbles streaming up to reinforce the thick creamy 1+ finger head that never seems to go away, like a thick rich creamy solid white mass head that leaves lots of foamy lacing, that leaves nice notches as I sip too.
Nose is pretty much like a nice pilsner, toasty pilsner malts, grainy, a nice soft decoction like layered complex malt base, with a nice soft lager note underneath, very faint grassy noble hop note.
Taste is more of the same, as expected from a true German Bavarian Lager. Soft layered malts, decoction most likely, nice complexity in the malts, soft, little grainy, nice toasty pilsner malts, so soft it just flows over the tongue like a liquid pillow. Hops come through a bit more this time, mild to a bit bigger bitterness overall, with a nice grassy noble hop flavor. Soft but crisp lager character too, very faint minerality, and touch of a lager like fruity note. Finish is crisp and soft, quite dry, bit more grassy noble hop bitterness.
Mouth is lighter bod, nice soft pillowy feel, great carb.
Overall what I expected it to be, a great German Bavarian lager, light and drinkable with plenty of complex flavors, lighter complex flavors but still all there, nice hop profile, etc. I could drink beers like this all day and not feel a thing.
