Stopped in to see how this locale stacks up against all the others...
Good news - just as good as the others.
Bad news - just like the others.
I guess that's the nature of a chain, consistency. I wasn't looking for anything differentiating from the others, but was hoping. I favor the Phoenixville location for it's layout and atmosphere, but I have to admit, the selection of 11 beers on at the North Wales location has to be the highest number that I have ever seen at once at any location.
The service was very good as well. I would rate this higher overall, due to the ervice and selection. I saw the menu, and it's the same, but I did not sample the preparation.
Still, my local one is my favorite for setting, atmosphere, AND the Maibock in Phoenixville, beats out the Maibock on at North Wales 10 to 1.

This was my first visit to an Iron Hill. It was close to the hotel I was crashing at, so it seemed like I might as well.
Nice interior. If you've seen one, you've seen them all really. I have passed by many at this point and seen what they looked like, though never went in. There is definitely a formula and system to everything, which is fine. I am glad they've kept a bit of an air of refinement to things. Selection was okay.
I honestly could have dealt with more choices on-tap. Bottles were in the house. I picked up an RIS to take with me.
Food was good enough. About what I'd expect to match the decor.
Service was fine. It was the end of the night, so I think the bartender was wrapping up and ready to get the hell out of there. He didn't seem to care too much about what was going on.
A pleasant enough experience.

Been to this place several times before and wasn't much impressed with the beer quality. Its been maybe two years since my last visit and the beer as far as selection and quality are much better.
Took the wife and fam after church there for dinner and while the wife and kids scoped out the stores I stayed back and seeked out a booth in the bar area. Ten minutes later score, see it pays to be a beer drinker.
Sevice from the staff was good, but it wasn,t too crowded either.
Food was good kids got the standard. Thier meals came with maybe 10 french fries, seriously 10.
Had three beers thier house porter, pils, and a seasonal rojo grande( imp. red) all were very good inquality and taste hovering in the 4pt area.
I think in the future we'll be going back.

I am a huge fan of the Iron Hill chain but this is my least favorite outpost, though the beer was much improved on my last visit here on 3/18/11.
Layout is quite similar to the Media location, with a large u-shaped bar in the middle and dining areas behind and to the side. The beer definitely took a step backward during the transition to the latest head brewer. Not enough seasonals, and mostly underwhelming. My last visit featured Ramrod, the best beer I have had there in the last couple of years. So I am hopeful this is a sign of good things to come.
I find the bartenders here to be generally douchey and slow moving. On my most recent visit, more than half of the bar patrons had either empty uncleared plates, empty unfilled beer glasses or both, while the staff did not appear to be breaking a sweat.
Food is very good, as at all IH branches, but a bit pricey for a brewpub. I love the chain and I am glad there are four other locations that are closer to my house.

This is the only Iron Hill I have ever been to, but I stop here quite a bit since my wife and I frequent some of the stores in this area.
The restaurant itself is warm and inviting with a very nice U shaped bar in the center. Brewing equipment is visible from along the one wall. Bathrooms are always immaculate.
Service has always been prompt and friendly, but now and then you get a server/bartender who does not know a whole lot about the beers. That is pretty standard for this type of brewpub though.
They have your usual roundup of chain pub styles, a lot of them are pretty boring, but all fairly well made. The special brews can range from "meh" to really cool, and occasionally are exceptional.
My real issue with this place is the food. I know a lot of people love it, but I have eaten here quite a few times and though everything is decent, I find that for the price it is really lacking. It has gotten to the point that I now just sit at the bar and have a couple pints and get my growler filled, getting food somewhere else.
Still, this is one of the better chain pubs I have been to and if you are in the area I would definitely stop by.

North Wales, off PA-309.
Atmosphere: This Iron Hill feels a lot like the other IH locations: plenty of wood. On entrance, the bar is straight ahead. To the left and right are dining areas. Beyond the left dining area is the brewhaus. A nice feel, especially around the bar.
Quality: Iron Hill may be the best chain around. Consistent quality and cleanliness.
Service: Service is generally efficient, visiting often. I've never had a bad experience. The bar does get a little busy at times.
Selection: I'm no fan of the regular IH line-up. It's the brewer specialties that keep me coming back. A few Belgians, a few barrel-aged offerings. North Wales has a few big notches under its belt (that bourbon RIS from a few years back still gets me pumped up).
Food: Better-than-average food. Sandwiches and entrees run the gamut from decent to very good. I'm partial to the jambalaya and burgers.
