Strongly agree with the reviews posted by @Spade and @Paul_in_Ohio — this is better than expected and puts more mainstream category comparables to shame. I’m no American adjunct lager fan and go out of my way to avoid Bud, Miller, (etc.) and similar Canadian and Mexican beers (with the odd exception, like Pacifico). But this actually looks (pale gold, crystal clear, with a bright white head of fizzy bubbles but some quality lacing) and smells (floral hops, light caramel malts) like beer, and the flavor profile isn’t watered-down corn. Floral and grassy notes, admittedly mild, with bready malt flavors, a pleasant mineral layer, and a little twang of bitterness to complement the expected sweetness. Maybe a touch of corn but also a faint tropical hint (admittedly more banana or plantain than pineapple or mango). Very light and a little fizzy in terms of texture, but that’s par for the category course. Not going to wow a beer nerd in a world where almost every other category brings better offerings to the table. But I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed multiple of these on a hot beach day in the DR (and I normally don’t drink tiny beers, even in hot weather). Certainly easy drinking, but in a non-lazy way. Kudos!

12 oz bottle exp date 23 April 24 into a pokal.
L: SRM 2 Pours transparent and very light yellow with an even lighter gold hue, light steady carbonation, a thin white head that moves to a thin skin, light random scattered lacing.
S: A light herbal hop notes, lightly floral, grains.
T: Lightly sweet grains, light background caramel, very distant honey, subtle bread dough, adjuncts in the finish. It is lightly sweet then has low paleness.
F: A suspended brisk start then a sharp drop off to a light bodied feel that finishes fairly fast and clean. It is barely dry in the finish.
O: Overall a poor example of the style. It drinks easily enough and is possibly a tad bit better on tap, but I just simply don't enjoy its taste.

12 oz. bottle. Pleasantly surprised by this one. Clear golden color with nice white foam. The flavor is comparable with domestic pale lagers- a bit of grassy grain and lightly floral hops. Definitely worth trying.

Poured from a growler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a big four finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of adjunct lager malt, grassy hops with skunking, touch of lemon and grain. Flavor is corn adjunct lager malt, light grassy hops, faint grain and lemon; quite light in flavor. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Another green bottle adjunct lager with the typical innocuous flavors of slightly sweet corn in the malt and light grassy hops. This one tastes more attenuated in flavor than most, almost watered down. The flavor is as good as expected, but light with faint grain character. I had to check the ABV as this drank rather like a light lager in flavor. This is probably quite satisfactory on a hot day and has no off flavor, it's just somewhat uninteresting. What is interesting is that this is apparently contract brewed in the US, although I don't know if that's just for the states or if some goes back home. Possibly one of the inoffensive restaurant beers for dining on the local cuisine.

Underrated for sure. So much flavor, malty, grainy. Light straw in color. Bright playful mouthfeel. Worst I can say is it had a wee bit of metal, but subdued as it drank.

First off, this is not a perfect beer. But it does what it’s trying to achieve as close to perfection as I could imagine. This is a beer that was designed for hot Dominican days under the sun. It cannot afford to be heavy. For as light as it is, it’s got plenty of flavor and the flavor is malty and delicious.

It’s not great not terrible. Kind of reminds me of a maltier thicker version of Mich Ultra, but with a little bitter tinge to it. This was from a can, so wasnt off flavors. Just has a bit of hop to it I guess.

Shared 330 ml green bottle at local tasting. Pale golden colour, low white head. Weak sweetish aroma, notes of grass and artificial candy. Bland flavour, but not offensive. No doubt drinkable under the Dominican sun, but far from a great beer.

Not sure if this is just an off beer of far out of date or what's going on but it smells like must and the flavor is pretty offensive and astringent. I do not enjoy this one and would have a hard time getting it down. It's not for me.
