Random corner bodega score, and boy is this thing heavy. The bottle weighs as much as a champagne magnum for some reason.
Swigged from the bottle, but it looked to be a clear gold color, with occasional crests of white foam.

Corn, saltine crackers, adjunct laden. Thankfully clean and not too weird. Fairly crisp and not sweet at all. Dry and bland, vague noble hop character, seltzer water mouthfeel. However simple, it manages to be pretty quenching. Not something i'd grab again but it gets the job done while passing the time.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a pint glass.

A - Light straw color and high carbonation - looks a lot like yu'd expect from an American Macro. Next to zero opacity. Foamy head has a lot more staying power than most, though.

S - Slightly hoppy, grainy, similar to a Corona or other Mexican AAL.

T - Next to nothing there. It's fizzy water with a little tiny bit of grain in the aftertaste. Nothing offensive about it. Just... not... anything.

M - Slightly more substantial than seltzer water, but not by much. Highly drinkable. Would be fine on a hot summer day.

Overall - It's always taking a chance to try a beer from a new country. Not much of a risk here, though. Presidente, thy name is Coors Light.

have had these on several different occassions in different locales. each time i walk away thinking "that's actually much better than i expected".

can't say i found a better option in either Puerto Rico or Curacao during my time there. this isn't going to rock your face off but it's also not going to make you cringe when you drink it.

very smooth, crisp, a quality sweetness to it that far surpasses it's union american equivalent.

i'd drink these regularly if available where i live.

my beer of choice when vacationing in the caribbean without a doubt.

A- Pours a crystal clear gold color with a thin white head. Picture any of the BMC beers and this is it.

S- Light grains and corn are about all.

T- Not a whole lot here going on. A lot like all the BMC brews. Corn and grains and super light faint soapy hops.

M- Light in body and good amount of carbonation.

O- When I was in the Dominican Republic my beer choices were this or Miller High Life, so I went with this. Nothing to write home about by any means.
