Cheers: A pretty chill place far from away from all the tourists on Yonge. Nice selection of domestic micro taps, 2 handpulls. An apricot wheat and the Blue Meaney Stout caught my attention. Nice decor, cozy wooden bar feel without the formalness or stuffiness. Outdoor patio looked inviting. Reasuured Canadian patrons that some Americans are actually decent people. Learned the in and outs of the Canadian govt. Judged to be good enough to drag our hung over butts to for breakfast the next day.
Jeers: Place seemed kindof empty on a Sat night. Sun morn was totally dead. Bathroom located in basement.
Overall, worth checking out if in the GTA.

Becoming more popular in trendy Eglinton/Yonge area. Good to get away from downtown, and there's a good chunk of TO up North. A lot of traffic, very busy on a rainy night. Good patio in summer out back away from the traffic. Keiron is former manager of Bow & Arrow. Focus is Ontario and QUebec micros. ABout 12 taps were on, and importantly 2 casks. Bottles including surprises like Church Key Decadent Chocolate. Good variety, i.e. stouts, ales, etc. Not the same old same old. Tight seating inside, decor so-so. Solid staff who can handle the large number of groups here. Kerian is making money and deserving it. Worth a visit.
