Poured into a ten ounce tasting glass at the brew-pub.

Appearance was hazy, identical to the wave the wheat ale.

Smell was a bit better than the wave the wheat ale, with a slight hint of raspberries.

The taste was certainly far better. Nary a hint of raspberries, with some added sweetness. The wheat portion of this beer was far better, as it wasn't oxidized and didn't taste like bud light because of it. Gives me hope for the normal wheat.

Overall an average beer.

On tap at the brewpub in August 2009.

Pours a light, transparent gold with a thin white head that quickly recedes. Always disappointing to see a fruit infused beer that has no color to it. Nose is dominated by raspberries. Taste is quite the same, although a bit of grainy wheat comes through as while. Thin mouthfeel with some excess carbonation. Drinks smoothly but nothing particularly memorable about this. I think it was the time of year, but virtually every brewpub we went through on the way from Denver to Chicago had a raspberry wheat on draft. I wouldn't say this was my favorite, but it certainly wasn't one of the worst.

This is one of the four year-round drinks they have on tap, and as with the Wave the Wheat, it is definitely geared for the beer-drinking novice.

A: One-inch snow-white head that dissipates very quickly with no lacing. Beer has a light golden color.

S: Not much here other than a bit of breadiness and raspberry.

T: Unfortunately not a whole lot going on. There is a bit of yeast/wheat coming through, but it is a surprisingly light beer. The raspberry flavor is not subtle at all, so it comes off as a pretty fruity beer.

M: Very light-bodied with medium carbonation

D: If you are looking for a chuggable BMC alternative at this bar and dont want the standard wheat, this is it.

Pours a slightly hazed golden color with some orange hues. A thin off white head forms on top. Retention is fairly poor and leaves no lacing behind.

Aroma is very weak, and unimperssive. A shot of raspberry followed by some pale malted wheat twang. It's not bad, just subtle.

Taste is nice. A good shot of raspberry up front which I think a lot of brewers make too weak. This one is pretty good. This beer definitely has a malty finish with that familiar Kansas Wheat.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied and lightly carbonated.

Drinkability is moderate to high. Flavor is good and beer has presumeably low alcohol. A nice little beer to sit back and relax with. Only time will tell how much can be consumed in a sitting, though I would imagine more than 2 pints is pushing it. Glad I'm sharing this growler!
