A - Pours a hazy beige golden into my Hoegaarden pint with a paper thin milky white head that quickly reduces to just a ring of lacing and visibly active carbonation (3)
S - Light citrusy nose with the presence of some wheat notes and dashes of herbal spices (3)
T - Herbal spices in the front followed by some citrus and floral notes with wheatiness at the back. Flavors are a tad subdued and the finish was short (3)
M - Light to medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation and average smoothness (3)
D - Fairly easy drinking Witbier but I will still pick the Belgian Witbiers anytime (3.5)
My first Japanese Witbier, procured from Medi-ya Supermarket at Liang Court; it was over S$11 for a 33 cl bottle. It is an unimpressive witbier by my standards but the bottle (and label) does look good and it uses the "pull-out" kind of ring-cap instead of your usual crown.
