Pours a golden color with a nice head which lingers. Pilsener hoppiness to the nose and mouth. A bit of bite, but it is an easy drinking with no big faults. Enjoyable!

This is by far my favorite German Pilsner. I eat at specific joints because they have it on tap. It is one of the more hop front pilsners in Germany which is why I gravitate to it. Clean yellow color that looks beautiful in the .33L tall Bischoff Glass! It is way less filling then wheat, dunkles, and alts so it can take you deep into the night. Love Bischoff!

A: The beer is relatively clear pale yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a thick collar around the edge, and lacy rings of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready malts are present in the nose along with notes of grassy hops.
T: Like the smell, the overall taste is rather malty and has some faint hints of sweetness but for the most part is well balanced by the underlying malts, the latter of which also contribute a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Although this beer came in a green bottle, I couldn’t detect any skunkiness in the smell or taste. It is easy to drink but I didn't find the overall taste to be very interesting.

Served on tap at Dunderbaks in Tampa FL. Served in a shaker pint glass, probably would have looked a little more authentic if I had upped for the full liter.
Pours shiny gold, very clear, some white foam. Classic pils look and smell. Subtle hop in the nose. The taste is very clean, very crisp, with the German pils kind of finish you'd expect. Goes down quite smooth.
Very refreshing beer.

Very strong, malty aroma from this pilsener. Taste also is sharp and strong, and finish is dry. Mouth feel is just right. Don’t be put off by the screw top, this one’s good....

Been drinking this beer for years; finally time to review it since I haven't seen it in quite some time.
Pours a pale yellow-golden color with white fizzy head. Head dissipates rather quickly.
Aromas of sweet hay, grass, slight cooked vegetable and faint spicy hop. Surprisingly there is no detectable skunk character despite the green bottle. Must have just been taken out of the cardboard case.
Malty flavor, with sweet biscuity character. Slight DMS and very faint buttery diacetyl. Hops are there in spirit, providing a clean bitterness but little aroma or flavor.
Mouthfeel is okay - a bit fizzy and the finish is not as clean as it could be.
An easy-drinking continental pils. Enjoyable, but falls short of perfection.
