Served from the strangely small 650 ml capped and wax sealed bottle and into a glass.
Pours golden in color with very little head, however, what little head is present remains for quite a while. The taste is typical of a golden ale but is slightly darker and quite a bit less effervescent then most golden ales.
Smell is a slight hint of malt coupled with the golden ale "bright" and sweet smell. Not a strong smell, but an overall a good solid aroma.
Taste is coupled closely to the smell. A golden ale with a tiny bit of malt at the base. Not strong tasting in any way. Not bad, but not outstanding either. Golden ales are my favorite style and I was slightly disappointed that this beer is not true to the style in my opinion.
Mouthfeel is fine, the lack of effervescence is the major drawback to the beer.
Overall quite drinkable. No complaints. Definitely worth trying.

Poured from a can with an enjoy by date of 6/28/14; into a tumbler.
Appearance - bright yellow, bubbly carbonation; a thin white sheet of head that sticks around and leaves lots of lacing.
Smell - lemon, some banana and orange peel.
Taste - lemon and orange zest, some banana bread.
Feel - light, of course, flavorful early on, but an odd aftertaste and tounge coating to finish it off.
Overall - not my preference, but in a pinch I'd take a can or two to the pool.
