12 oz. bottle, this beer is also brewed with love, as with the Ten Pin and the yet to be tried Nefarious Ten Pin, odd only the beers that have a bowling theme are brewed with this special ingredient,
A: Pours amber with a muddle mild off-white head, sudsy lacing.
S: Crystal like malt with notes of pine and orange soda. Kel Kimble would be a fan.
T: As with LH Sawtooth, not overhopped, more like an ESB though the finish is quite bitter. Biscuity sweet malt, citrusy lemon/orange mid-palate, with a mint play to finish with bitter pine needle.
M: Very soft carbonation which almost makes it feel watery/thin, but it isn't. There's a solid body weight to this beer. Medium-bodied and smooth.
D: While the bitter pine ending didn't really meld with the other flavours, I still enjoyed this offering. Ska's making some pretty good "succession" beers and this is one of them.
