I've always had easy access to this one so I usually pass, but decided to give it a whirl... Very pleasant surprise!

By far my favorite beer. This beer introduced me to IPA's and I have yet to find one that I enjoy as much as this one. Great copper color and for me, the perfect aroma and taste.

This IPA is wonderful. Pungent smells of pine, resins, and nuts. Lovely copper hue with good carbonation. Great brew for the autumn, winter time. Good companion for trips too. The head is a good show with a cinnamon color to it. Bitter or spice at the end which gives it a good twist. Get that dry sticky taste at the back of my throat. Lacing is delicious as is the brew.

Serving: Can
Best Before: March-13-2015

A:
Pours a clear orange-copper with 3+ fingers of active beige head that has an airy slow settle; stays pretty big. Great retention; even, scummy lacing. (4.25)

S:
Spicy hops. Dusty hops, caramel, citrus, toasty malt, pine sap. (4)

T:
Sappy hops and some malt. Potpourri, orange rind, pine, medicinal finish. (4)

M:
Easy drinking with a light-medium body, a slightly bitter finish that hangs around and soft carbonation. (4)

O:
Very solid IPA. Nothing too over-the-top, but a crisp resinous IPA that doesn't burn your taste buds too awful bad.
Pours beautiful with a sappy character backed by toasted malt in both aroma and flavor. Generally solid and well-made.
Would definitely have again; well worth a try if you see it and are curious. (4.25)
