A red hued body with no real head that lasted. Looks pretty middle of the road.

Smell is some sweet malt with a decent hop twinge, but nothing is really drawing me in.

Taste is well rounded with the hop and malt balancing, but a bit thinner on flavor overall than expected.

A middle of the road ale that really didn't speak to me.

A: Blushed amber color. Poured a minimal off-white to tan head. Laced the glass in a few random spots.

S: Sweet malt; bready caramel. Light floral hop character.

T: Malt and hop character consistent with the nose. Smooth, almost to the point of being flattish. Malt overstays its welcome in the mildly bitter finish.

M: Light body. Low to moderate carbonation. Coating and smooth. A bit long in the finish.

O: Pretty average beer. Not there's anything wrong, just not that memorable.

Draft at the brewpub.

Pours clear medium amber with nice white head and good lacing.

Aroma is mostly malty and caramelly without too much hop presence.

Flavor is mainly caramel malt, along with a little roastiness and mild citrusy hops. A little butterscotch.

Medium body with average carbonation and a pretty standard non-hoppy amber ale mouthfeel.

Overall, meh, pretty average. Drinkable I guess.
