A classic English-style Nut Brown Ale. Sweet and malty with the nutty flavor of chocolate malt, this beer is flavorful yet easy to drink.

Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival a fine khaki 2 finger head head sat atop a brown clear body. Lacing rings are left.
Aroma is nutty sweet and slightly yeasty with a light figgy note coming through. Some English hops are also present in the back.
Taste is pretty much perfect for the style. Yeasty in a smooth fruity way, and roasty and sweet in the malts with nutty flavors as well as a hint of dark chocolate and an even smaller hint of coffee on the finish.
Feel is very quaffable and smooth. Not a nitro beer but the head feels like one. It's carbonation in the body however has a medium bite to fill it up. Makes me want to drink my beer like the guinness guru drinks his guinness.
Overall the darker traditional styles have impressed me quite a bit. Traditional and almost chuggable at the same time. Super smooth but flavorful and malty with just the right touch of hop bitterness.

A- Pours a definite brown with hints of red. Thin slightly tanned head last pretty well, with just notes of lacing.
S- Smells of chocolate, slightly nutty, some caramel.
T- Well balanced. Some chocolate, chestnut, caramel.
M- Finishes definitely dry. Medium body.
D- A decent brown. Nothing outstanding, but balanced and easy drinking.

Went to Bosco's Squared in Memphis while visiting my fiancee this last week. Really wanted to try their Hefe, but they have apparently stopped brewing it, even though it was still on the menu. Opted for this instead.
Served on tap into a pint glass
A: Deep brown in color (expected for a brown ale) with a tan head which stuck around for a decent amount of time, gave way to some decent lacing.
S: Great smell, hints of chocolate, malt, hint of caramel and maybe a little bit of coffee or espresso.
T: Decent taste. Malty, chocolate, pretty bitter. Not great, but not terrible either.
M: Creamy, a little carbonation but not too much.
D: Sippable. Took me awhile to get through, but as I'm finding out, I'm not a huge fan of brown ales.
Overall: I enjoyed this beer once, but I probably wouldn't have it again. That's not to say it's bad, it's just not my preference.

Very nice brownie served up in the classic shaker pint glass - a clear mahogany brown with a rich topping of tan. Also rich in the aroma with plenty of chocolate malt. Big brown here, as it packs in chocolate, caramel, even a hint o coffee all back by a sturdy malty backbone. Thick and rich body, this frostys must be packing 200 + calories a pint! Nice!
This was one fine brown ale, I could drink these all day or night if ever given the opportunity.
