Bought a sixer at Trader Joe's. Poured into a standard pint glass.
Good looking head and left foam down the glass. Not a great bouquet but mild. Hazy, golden color.
Slightly oily taste to the hops, leaves a slight bitterness at the end.
Carbonation was mild the malt was average. A decent IPA with a warm feeling to it.

The Brewer states "an IPA with a wonderful aromatic hop bouquet, a pleasant hop bitterness with citrus overtones and a deliciously round and lingering aftertaste." And I have to agree, this is another fine PNW IPA. You expect an IPA to taste at least this good when you order one in Seattle or anywhere else in Washington St.

Handsome dark amber color with the off-white foam bubbling up in the tall Pilsener glass. Medium body with a malty base. Just a hint of sweetness on the lips. A woody sensation with plenty of spritz in the mouth. A grainy aroma with a hint of flowery hops.
Hops are full-bodied with a zesty flavor. Some sharp oily notes. Quite a rich mouthful of flavor. Lots of aromatics with a fruity peach flavor with a piney edge. The bitterness is moderate with a leafy and even musty note that is rather pleasant. This seems to grow more malty and less bitter as it warms up. An interesting and mellower variety of IPA, and thoroughly drinkable. From the 22 oz bottle bought at Bottleworks in Seattle.

High marks on the label graphics bring that appearance number up. Do mongooses really live in Washington state? Would it be mongooses or mongeese? So many questions for just one beer and unfortunately this beer leaves many questions.
A quick nosedive in reveals a sun baked cheese smell quickly fading. Lightly hoppy and bitter throughout. Lingering bitterness.Somewhat dry but dry but not overly so.
Would drink if limited alternatives available.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Look - soft golden color, clear, with low carbonation, and about half a finger's worth of off-white, semi-frothy foam.
Smell - interesting aroma for an American IPA. It doesn't seem to have an overwhelming hop profile in the smell. It almost has a bavarian lager/pilsner quality.
Taste - at first, I could only feel the hops (not taste them), but the bitterness shows up around the middle and hits decently hard. It backs off to a pretty mellow finish, leaving only a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - medium body, almost a creamy quality to it.
Overall - I was pleasantly surprised with this brew. I was expecting a run-of-the-mill American IPA, but got something with some character that sets it apart. Definitely worth the taste.
