Can from Albertsons. Hops dominatethe aroma, as expected. Nice amber body with creamy head. Hops are smooth, piney, some buttery taste. Dry bitter finish.

22 ounce poured to tulip glass
Sight: amber, clear, small off white foam lacing
Smell: Very fragrant, hoppy
Taste: Balance bitterness with sweetness, malt profile
Feel: medium carbonation, some drop, long follow through, bitter aftertaste
Overall: very good beer, ok to repeat

The appearance had a slightly hazy semi orange/somewhat amber colored body with yellow highlights to help to make it fairly clear, thin white half finger foamy head that dies immediately leaving some adequate foamy sticky lacing in its wake. The smell had some coconut in the beginning (not sure where I’m gettin’ that, but that’s what I truly got) and after it warms a bit toasted piney caramel plays in my nose. The taste was somewhat bitter but still sweet through the malty bill that comes through, sticky caramel aftertaste, dry caramel finish. On the palate, it sat about a medium in body, fairly sessionable - pretty much as any DIPA could be, carbonated very well for the style. Overall, pretty good DIPA that I could have again.

22oz bottle with the new "rocket ship" design, which promises 8.1% alc/vol and 115 IBUs being delivered from a load of C-hops. ok! Served in a curved glass, this beer looks quite brassy amber, like an Imperial red ale. Minimal head. Aroma is malty and sweet, but flavor is an immediate onslaught of pine tar and old school, heavy handed, big alpha West coast IPA. But there is some malt aftertaste here bringing the IBUs, which could have easily been absurd, into some kind of balance.

No-Li Brewhouse 'Jet Star Imperial IPA' @ 8.1% , served from a 650 ml bottle purchased for $8.50
A-pour is gold from the bottle to a clear gold in the glass with a medium size white head leaving a spotty lace along the pint
S-piney hops , hints of a malt
T-clean & crisp (kinda) with a decent malt base , dry finish
MF-ok carbonation , feels full bodied
Ov-ok Imperial IPA (kinda)

Look: Somewhat cloudy pale yellow: -1 finger of head. Some glass
soapiness-lacing apparent.

Smell: Piney hops; floral note; apricots perhaps. On the downside, did get
some distinct cattiness also.

Taste: The malt backbone is there, but I found it a bit more subdued than others
have indicated. The citrusy hops are massive as expected and the bitterness
does build-linger. Alcohol fairly well hidden.

Feel: Pretty decent mouthfeel" Perhaps a bit thinner than I imagined.

Overall: Interesting pour. Somewhat in the middle of the road for me: I liked
it more than some DIPA's, but less than others. Would potentially revisit.
