12 oz bottle, poured into a teku

A - clear; orange/gold; pours with a very small amount of white head which quickly dissipates leaving only a ring of foam around the glass; leaves well spaced out lacing with each sip

S - a subdued nose for a double IPA but delicious none the less; mango, pumpkin (fleeting but there), tangerine, lightly fermented lemon, light spice

T/M - mostly follows the nose; tangerine, mango, black tea, lychee, lightly ferminted lemon, citrus rind, mild/moderate spice; slight bite on the finish with a slightly sweet/bitter aftertaste; nicely balanced and leaves you ready for more

O - a double IPA that you'd have to be crazy to be disappointed in; I found notes here that I haven't experienced in an IPA before (pumpkin, black tea, lychee) and I found them very enjoyable

Pours a fogged amber gold. Kind of a clogged and muddled dipa here. Some pine and mild citrus. Kind of salty. This seems more of a mix of a wad of hops instead of anything deliberate and graceful. A decent beer. But any brewery out of Washington state needs to be bringing a bit more.

Pours a clear, gold color. One inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of citrus hops, sweet malt, alcohol, hint of earthy malt, and floral hops. Fits the style of an American Double / Imperial IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of alcohol, hops, citrus, sweet malt, and earthy malt. Overall, great appearance, good aroma, and decent body.
