A - One finger of fluffy white head disolves quickly. Pale yellow body active with effervescence. A few traces of lacing.
S - Corn, rice and the faintest hint of yeast.
T - Distant corn and water. Extraordinarily plain.
M - Water thin, medium carbonation.
O - Not distasteful, but extremely uninteresting and featureless.

Appearance Very light yellow in color with a two-inch head that went down quickly.
Smell The aroma is singularly grain and very faint.
Taste This has a very light ricey grain flavor. There seems to be a bit of creamed corn in there as well.
Mouthfeel The lack of carbonation or a dry mouthfeel left this one wanting.
Drinkability This beer didnt have anything offensive in it, but it was very dull and boring.

11.2 ounce brown bottle, with "expiration" dating on the label. Pours very light, just slightly yellowed, minor white head and lacing. Initially prickly on the tongue, seems highly carbonated, as medium sized bubble continue to stream to the surface. Light body, minimal malt, slightly hoppy in the finish. Also picking up some metallic, nasty flavors. You can find better beer then this. Would hit the spot in an extreme heat wave or while pushing a lawn mower.

Halida beer pours a clear yellow-gold body beneath a short head of creamy white foam. The head retention and lacing are average. It has a very generic beer aroma to it with a dull sweetish malt and very background hops, and it's clear that there's some adjunct in use here. It's clean, however, and smells pretty much like any other well-made macro lager that uses a fair amount of adjunct and goes real easy on the hops. It's medium-light bodied and crisp in the mouth. The flavor offers a clean, lightly sweet but far from grainy maltiness with just a thread of nondescript hop flavor running through it. It finishes short-but-drying as a bit of sweet, but basically flavorless, malt sticks in the mouth. Average beer. You could drink this without noticing it except for the burp that followed.

A: Poured a clear, pale corn Budweiser yellow wit a thin, fizzy white capping.
S: Hardly any aroma was detected, with only very light herbal notes and fresh greens. Truly macro-like in nature making Budweiser smell like a pale ale.
T: sweet corn mash and a metallic tang. The overall flavor was light and watery with hardly any distinctions. Bland malting and hopping would be giving this to much credit.
M: much the same, bland, thin, watery with a slight vinegar sourness and metallic tang.
D: bland. Why punish yourself with the full 12 oz. Please tell me you didn't get the sixpack?

Pours gold with a quickly fading head.
Nose shows hay, cereal, vegetal notes. Not much going on.
Lots of sweet malt in the way of flavours, but its pretty light and one-dimensional. Some faint cereal and spicy notes show but not much else. Pretty much no bitterness.
Could use loads more carbonation to dry out that cloying finish.

Pours a very pale straw color with no head whatsoever. Smells slightly of yeast, and a lot like water. The taste pretty much of water as well, with a very slight nondescript hop flavor. Mouthfeel is very watery, but not fizzy at all. Overall, it's fairly drinkable, like water is. There's really no flavor to this at all, I can't even be sure it's actually beer.

Pours a pale straw color with minimal head that vanishes quickly. Detect some hops in the aroma. Very thin and watery, kind of like a Coors Light. In either case, might as well drink water. Not much taste, what there is seems covered by some thin metallic veil.

Pours a two finger white head that fades to nothing in minutes and leaves no lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light carbonation and light bodied. Hoppy nose. Starts sweet but that fades to a flavor like old shoe leather. I wasn't expecting much and didn't find it in this. Bought this only because it is brewed in Hanoi - I know that's lame. $1.40 for a 330ml bottle from John's Market Tigard, Or. Best by Jun 2006 - hadn't soured.

A: Pours a pale yellowcolor with a big fizzy head that fades fairly quickly to just traces of lacing.
S: Aroma is quite cleanand faint with a bit of citrus, malt sweetness and grain.
T: Taste is also on the light side with some malt sweeness, bit of citrus and grain.
F: Light body and fairly smooth.
O: Typical non-offensive Pale Lager. Probably goes best with spicy cousine.

Poured bottle into pint glass.
Appearance: Poured a pale gold color that is perfectly clear. Had a decent head.
Smell: Slightly sweet malt aroma with a little bit of funk making its appearance known.
Taste: Smooth and dry. Its taste is better than its smell as it is a little sweet and there is no funk in the flavor.
Mouthfeel: Kind of thin and watery. Not much carbonation bubbling on the tongue, either.
Drinkability: Not great. I had one, and that's probably all I'll ever really need of this one.

It's pretty decent beer for it's style. It's just that the style always tastes like a wet dog. Of course it's grainy and vegital...it's supposed to I guess. There are some interesting fruitiness (green apples, appricots, and peach) going on, but not enough to mask the American Lager qualities. Aromas are about half malty and half grainy. The beers body is where it is saved. The beer is round and moderately full. It holds its retention well and stayed refreshing down the the bitter end. Herbally hopped for a bit of tea-like character and grassyness. Finishes mainly crisp, but with a residual sweetness and corn flavor that hurts.

The beer pours a pale gold color with a thin white head that fades to spotty lacing. The aroma is average. It has a light pale malt scent along with some hints of adjuncts; probably rice. It has a sweet smell; pretty clean. The taste is average as well. It has a light pale malt flavor that goes down easy and finishes clean with some residual sweetness. It pretty good, but it lacks character. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with adequate/good carbonation. It is a little heavier than most Asian lagers, but it drinks well.

Picked up at the local import store. Why, to document and record that others might not repeat.
A - A tiny amount of white lagery quickly receding head. Color is stray / hay yellow.
S - Wow just opening the can I feel like I've been transported to a gentle stream floating away from downtown Hanoi. All the sights and smells ( ESPECIALLY THE SMELLS) of this ancient city have been condensed into this can. Hard boiled egg, wet band-aid, rusty oil drum... all of your favorite smells can be found in this one small can. Malt, yeast, and hops are not-surprisingly absent.
T - Says on the can serve at 8-10 degrees C. I can believe that. If I were outside in Hanoi with 98% humidity and 40 degrees C. This might be pretty good or at least refreshing.
M - Normal. Better than water.
D - Needs to be so cold it's about to freeze. This is the kind of beer that is preferable to getting diarrhea from the tap water in a third world country. I would most certainly choose this over pond water.

Cool bottle - rather noble looking label (different than pictured).
Pours a palish, waifish golden with a white foamy head that retires early.
Smell is of sweet, sweet malt. Like RoyalT mentioned - its very singular in its aroma.
The taste is mild, pleasant and sweet. Less carbonation bite and more malt flavor (and a bit less adjunct flavor) than most American lagers. Nice summer sipper, drinks easily.

Yellow with no head, save for some thin, white patchwork and a thin ring around the perimeter. No lacing.
Smell is corny, bready malts with some subtle notes of barley. Faint notes of ginger as well.
Taste is corny malts with some faint notes of spice. Very little else going on here; lackluster finish that is slightly watery, with a touch of barley and malts.
Mouthfeel is crisp and slightly watery at the finish. Light body.
Drinkability is decent. Definitely a bland and relatively unexciting beer, but it still drinks easily, as there's nothing too offensive or unpleasant to detract from the drinkability.

Im definately not expecting too much from this but never tried so why not and it pours a crystal clear apple cider hue which leaves a frothy two finger macro head that is gone as it appears and no lacing, the smell is basically a pub in the morning with the aromas of spilt alcohol and stagnant stale smoke mixed with kornmalt, the mouthfeel is basically water but more refreshing only just and the tastes are insipid and bland with kornmalt and rice water being most prominent and overall the only reason it got higher overall than it should of is because i can see tourists drinking this like bintang in Bali and probably just as cheap but for me some things should be left on hoilday cheers.

Pours a light straw with a nice white head, dissipates rapidly, but falls to a ring. Nose is soggy bread, some malt. Taste is typical for the style, lacking in crispness. Mouthfeel is thin, but not unpleasantly so. Found this for $3.99 for a sixer. I don't think it is normally this cheap. Easy to drink, would bring it to a party of known macro drinkers to provide them with something to talk about.

This beer can be summed up into one word, "bland" or "boring" should do the trick. I try to go into every beer with high hopes of having something really great come from it but I have yet to find an Adjunct Lager that really impresses me. This beer pours out as a golden color which is decent but there is virtually no head on it at all. Mouthfeel is flat much like I suspected from the look of it. The tastes of Malts are the most pronounced in the beer. This is one I can skip if I see it on shelves somewhere for purchase.
