RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting, as Svyturys Baltas Kvictinis Alus. ABV is 5.2%. Golden colour, hazy, large head. Typical weissbier aroma and flavour: cloves and ripe bananas. An okay weissbier.

I will skip all the typical review notes, although the help define a beer, I believe they do not lend a comparison that is accurate.
Head is weak but color is clear gold with only slight haze and not cloudy. It has rue hefeweizen flavors absent funk found in most US beer samples. Good clove balance that is smooth on entry with slight bitter finish. Texture a little thin with carbonation falling off after 20 minutes. But retains balance as brew warms from ice cold to almost room temperature.
I found this beer available in bottle or can…I chose can 568ml. This is the best container hefeweizen I have found in North America in terms of comparison to major brews from the Stuttgart area. Color was clear…missing the pixelated features of fresh poured tap brew but no funkiness that seems common with all the US brews. I won't drink Shock Top and disagree this has any resemblance as I do not consider it relevant to hefeweizen. I have had 4 cans over 4 months and the beer is consistent. Paid $1.89 - $2.25 per can at a local European grocery store of the shelf.
I had my doubts as I had yet to buy a hefeweizen in the US and buy then buy another of the same brew.
I am drinking a can now in October 3 that was canned on March 3rd of this year. Amazingly fresh taste for such a long shelf time. Even the German hefeweizens never taste fresh except from the tap in Germany.

Pours murky, gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is banana, wheat, and cloves. Medium body and carbonation, sweet. Tasty, above average hefe. Liking this more than I thought I would. Nice body, a lot better than my first experience with the brewery.

From a 500 ml bottle to a hefe glass. No date that I noticed.
A-The beer is typical for a hefe, cloudy with rusty orange hues and a nearly white head. Carbonation isn't terribly active and the head doesn't' last as long as I would like. The one and one-half finger of foam dies off after about a minute.
S-The beer smells pretty good. I'm picking up lots of lemon and orange notes, light wheat funkiness that is more musty than funky, and hints of dough and banana. This brew smells a little more sharp and acidic than many hefes, with less of the spice and mushy fruit flavors than normal.
T-The taste tracks the smell closely. Orange and lemon notes border on zesty and the beer is not as complex as some, but it packs a refreshing, almost-crisp flavor.
M-The body is medium in heft. Neither creamy nor crisp, it splits the middle ground and drinks easily.
O-This may be my first Lithuanian beer and it is a winner for me. The beer leans more towards citrus than many wheat beers, but that is OK in my book. I would definitely buy more of this if I could find it fresh.

Hazy golden color with a thick head with medium retention and keeping a constant plate.
Aroma with notes of bubblegum, oranges, banana and cloves.
Flavor with notes of fresh oranges, mild cloves, white bread, lemon, some banana and green apple. Mildly dry aftertaste.
Medium body with good carbonation. Slightly tart, this makes it more interesting.
Flavorful and yeasty Hefeweizen, still very easy to drink. I found it very pleasant and balanced, meaning it does not focus in just one of the common esters to this style.
