I'm writing this as warning to other BAs who use this site as their primary beer research tool when planning vacations. This is no longer a brewpub. They have exactly one beer on-tap, Caybrew. The bottle selection covered most adjunct lagers available in the Caymans. They didn't even have Guiness Foreign Export. The food was okay and the prices not terrible by Cayman standards. The lovely deck was oddly desserted for a saturday night though. I'm not saying don't come here, just don't expect any good beer.

Awesome waterfront place! Many local Cayman Island brews such as Caylight, Ironshore Bock, White Tip Lager, Caybrew etc.

I cruise a lot, and I had stopped by this joint to grab some food and some good drinks. What I got was over priced food that was average at best, and the service was substandard. The beer selection wasn't bad, but the mixed drinks wasn't that good. visitor beware.

Same place, but the name is changed to Hammerhead's.
This is a pretty typical outdoor island bar. It overlooks the ocean cruiseline and fishing ship operations. You can watch the frigate birds fight for fish scraps. The bar itself is sort of a "tiki bar" atmosphere, combined with murals of reef/scuba diving scenes. There is an unfortunate cartoonish hammerhead sculpture that never lets you forget that bars are supposed to be fun.
They had three house brews available when I visited: a california commons stytle light lager, a wheat, and a mango ale. I was told that the last one was the brewmaster's special, which rotates periodically.
I had the wheat, which was maybe more like a dunkelweizen in appearance. Great fruity banana flavor, but lacked a good head. Still, was quite refreshing. My mother-in-law had the cali-light a couple days later and liked it.

I was here when this brewpub first opened...sits near the water in the downtown district of Georgetown. Everything sits outdoors, except the brewing equipment...lol. It seems that they picked the location because of the cruise ships that dock nearby. They have about 5-6 different brews on tap here. The brew I had was decent, the bartender knew nothing about beer what-so-ever except that "it's really good." The bar area is nice with a canopy overhead...provides some needed shade. They also have a bunch of tables behind the bar as well. With all of the cruise ships docking and the downtown commotion, I couldn't wait to get back to my hotel (The Westin, Highly recommended) on 7 Mile Beach. Worth a stop in of course...if you are in the CI.
