This is the stock beer in the Canary Islands. It's stacked high and low in every conceivable place where you can buy a beer- including gas stations! It poured with a honey-yellow color and the foam was gone in a minute. The smell weas fruit but with a kind of euro lager film over it. The taset was syrupy sweet, bread notes and some citrus. A lot of carbonation. It actually tastes a little better than the smell indicates but at the end of the day it's just a mawkish Euro pale lager.

33cl can poured into a glass tumbler.

Reviewing this beer you have to take into account what its designed to be - a simple tasting lager that is crisp and refreshing, to be enjoyed cold in warmer climates.

A- Bog standard golden hue with a tight white head that reduces quickly leaving a crown, moderate lacing.

S- Fresh hop bite with a faint lightly toasted malt background.

T- Crisp sharp hops in the beginning with the light buscuit malt coming through, finishing on a hoppy refreshing note.

M- Moderate mouthfeel and crisp on the tongue.

D- Refreshing served cool in a hot climate, albeit there are more tasty options, but this is certainly up to the job its designed to do

Colour is medium yellow. The two finger white head sinks down leaving some lacing.

The smell is quite neutral. Some sweet malt, a slight sourness and a touch of dough.

The taste is, to be honest, watery. Some sweet malt, a hint of yeast. The aftertaste is malty with a light touch of bitterness and dough.

The carbonation is medium strong; the bubbles are medium large. The liquid is light in the mouth, like mineral water.

Le falta cuerpo y fuerza, mejor la Dorada especial.

Another Canary beer, this time softer.
Colour is yellow. one finger cap

Smell not particulary strong.

The taste is even softer. Dough, with a little touch of bitterness.

Medium large bubbles, it is good for mid afternoon snack.

Overall not impressive but somehow nice

The beer comes in a 25 cl brown long-necked bottle. The red label is dominated with the white writing "DORADA" under a mountain.

A: Light in color, pale golden. The head is light, airy but quite large. Dissipation isn't to fast, almost no lacings.

S: Quite discrete in smell, but some sweet malts (and some corn) and a faint bitter hoppyness together with some citric notes.

T: Much like the smell, only a little more bitter.

M: Light in body and rich in carbonation. Aftertaste is short and mostly bitter.

D: If you drink it on the beach on the Canarie Islands then I guess it's a great thirst-quencher. But otherwise you should probably avoid this one.
