12oz brown bottle with a freshness date.

Pale copper color, good clarity. Big citrus zest nose, spicy and grainy as well. Thinner body but we are drinking a "session" beer so that seems to be common. Loads of hop flavor; zest, rind, pith, peppery. Grassy maltiness, clean palate with a very dry finish.

Way too easy to drink, gettin my hop fix on without a huge hammer of alcohol is not a bad thing.

From the 12 bottle box, 12/10/13 etched on the bottle, brewed on date?
Pours near clear, with bubbles rising. Lite tan head, that leaves a nice tiny bubble film, collar and and some larger bubble webs of lace.
Citric hop nose.
Hoppy on the tongue from start to finish, with resin, pine and also some grapefruit. Sort of mushy and not as crisp as I’d prefer in the finish. Hops are quite biter, but I wouldn’t say they are really that flavorful.
Nothing special, just a middle of the road, drinkable IPA

8/27...pours light copper, some white foam, some sticking. Notes of toffee, earth, grapefruits. Taste is a higher hoppy combined with light body. Strong residual bitter burn. Does what it sets out to do - an easy drinking hop forward IPA.

A- Poured from the 12oz bottle with a pretty much clear orange-light amber body. Small white cap builds up to a bit lower than one finger with fairly poor retention. The head recedes to a small, foamy ring depositing spotty lace.

S- Fairly juicy hops off the top but the nose overall is not that pungent. Hops have tropical, citrus, floral and pine notes. The fruity note reminds me of a mini-Limbo.

T- Follows the nose in that it reminds me of a smaller version of Limbo. The hop focus is on a stone fruit and tropical fruit pith with a strong citrus backdrop as well as hints of pine, floral and spicy hops. Fairly bitter for 4.5%. Light bit of yeast fruit, bread and light cracked malts.

MF- Nice creamy texture for a session and lower-ABV IPA. Body is on the lighter side and carbonation hits the palate at a high level, without it the hops might be a bit subdued. Finishes with a moderate bitterness.

Honestly is like a Limbo-light session brew. The hop profile seems to be quite similar and everything else in the brew is super clean.

12oz bottle bought as part of the current Long Trail Farmhouse Ales mixed 12-pack from Yankee Spirits, Sturbridge, MA. Bottled on 10/9/14.

Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1/4" off-white head over the crystal clear golden copper brew. Head holds on well, with sticky lasting lace. Aroma is balanced and rather sedate.

Taste is citrus to start, smooths with some malt sweetness through the middle, and cruises crisply balanced to the swallow. Mouthfeel is smooth, and drinkability is good. Session describes this brew well.
