Bottle dated of 1/6/14 so about 3 weeks on this one. Poured into a tulip...
A - Dark orange color with a half finger head that goes away pretty quickly. Nice lace marks left on the glass throughout consumption
S - Malt forward with some grapefruit characteristics in the finish. Some floral notes but somewhat muted. Bubble gum
T - Bready malt with some fruit. 7.6% gets on your fast, hop forward, resin, bitter, earthy, citrus in the background, bubble gum
M - Carbonated, medium body, piney
O - A very big, hoppy, IPA. Not sure I could go through more than one or two of these at a time. The ABV comes through fairly easy. A solid offering from LT

Bright, light orange, with a touch of haze. Level, creamy white foam. Drippy lace.
Fresh pineapple and grapefruit nose. Highly inviting.
A fast setting malt foundation is quickly smothered by juicy citrus. Nice sharp hop surgurical slice at the swallow. Sense of freshness.
Medium mouthfeel with some bounce to it.
A damn fine IPA, and a pleasant surprise from Long Trail, especially considering my last pint of Long Trail IPA.

12oz to a pint glass, bottled 12/23/13
Pours a hazy golden orange with a half finger of foam that receded pretty quickly into a ring. Moderate carbonation stemming from the sides of the glass, lacing's okay
Smell's obviously hops in the front- very earthy tropical and red fruits backed up by a sweet bready malt, finishing with a little bit of alcohol
Taste is a little more balanced. The hop profile stays the same with upfront tropical fruits backed up by lemon grass and other citrus notes. Malt is a lot more present, a pretty sweet bready caramel finishing with a little bit of alcohol
Feel is a medium body with a wet finish, moderately bitter with the alcohol hidden well. Drinks pretty easy
Overall this is pretty good. Big thanks to Audreyarr for setting me up with one
