This beer pours a thin golden amber that has a decided pale feel to it. The head is a thin film of off-white.
Smells of Wheaties and under-ripe pears with a hint of birch bark.
Tastes light and juicy with a touch of golden raisin and a raspy CO2 sting followed up with a dry birch bark, rhubarb and a distant hint of anise.
Feels glassy and clean with a raspy rush of carbonation.
Not too bad, but a little on the boring side.
