On tap at Theresa's Next Door...
Appears a transparent, copper toned amber with a two finger beige head that slowly fades into a mild cap. Tons of spotty lacing is left around the glass. Plenty of CO2 pumps to the top of the glass.
Smell is of toffee, earthy hops, minerals, cocoa, ripe fruits, gentle spicing of cinnamon, and nougat.
Taste is of the mentioned aroma with a punchy, ripe fruit flavor that seems to pull through a bit more in the flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, spritzy up front, with toffee, and sourdough battling along the palate, leading to a chewy finish.

This bottle definitely has at least a year on it.
A-Pours a slightly murky brown color. This mass of bubbles for a head. Body has some particulate swirling and sinking within it.
S-Sweet and richly malty. Caramel, toffee and brown sugar. Some dark fruit. Zero hop presence. Some alcohol.
T-Even with some age on it, this beer is too hot. It's rather high in alcohol but the booze is not well integrated. All the stuff in the nose is here, without much else to add.
M-A bit syrupy. Hot. Not cloying but it's within reach. Warms the cheeks for sure.
O/D-Nigger is not better. Double Bag was one of my first intros to craft. I still enjoy it somewhat. This one doesn't have the same magic as it's little brother.
