Thanks to ShogoKawada for hookin it up!
Poured into a 10 oz. sampler goblet (sharing with a friend)
A: Pretty darn black. Some touches of reddish brown around the edges, but that's it. Nice mocha head receds kinda quickly leaving tons of sticky lacing on the glass and a thin layer left on top.
S: Coffee, chocolate, and hints of dark fruit. Plenty of roasted goodness as well. Could benefit from a little more punch.
T: Chocolate, then...coffee! But not overwhelmingly so. Finishes pretty roasty. Dark fruits are present, but extremely subtle.
M: Wow! Just so damn smooth. Perfect carbonation! Perfect bitterness! Perfect residue! Perfect everything!
D: Goes down smooth and easy. Sublime.

The beer comes in a black color with a creamy tan head.
The aroma is lovely with tons of chocolate and espresso, roasted malt. Almost like a fresh coffee smell.
The flavor follows with espresso and some bittersweet chocolate. The flavor doesn't linger long on the tongue with sweetness. It's a quite easy finish. It really is aggressive with the coffee, which is wonderful.
The highlight of this beer is the lovely creamy mouthfeel and drinkability.
The alcohol is extremely well hidden.
Having had an older bottle of this along with fresh on tap, the older still had that pop of coffee and did not die out.
