Dark black coffeee pitch black stout with cream tan head forming thick and fine bubbled. Aroma has some dark chocolate and anise notes comting through, pretty amazing complex dark beer here. Bitter coffeee roasts simply explode with each scent from this dark coffee stout. Flavor wise creamy dark chocolate infused coffee stout standing tall without adulteration this is some nice drinking stout I'm proud to say I can get this in Pittsburgh even if it's limited to Robinson Giant Eagle Market District. Big caramel mouthfeel leaves it's expression on each flavor in my palate, what a big beer flavro big creamy coffeee flavor this beer is nice. Drinkability overall is pretty intense depending on the beer your looking to sample each and every time.

strong coffee aroma. dark black color with a tan head. flavor is bitter , very coffee dominated . I feel like the beer is lost in the coffee . low carbonation . not a bad sipping beer, but inferior to others of its style . still enjoyable.

Had from a growler. My guess is this had about 1 yr on the keg it was poured from it. Muted coffee and very complex. I would have guessed it had spent a small amount of time in a Bourbon Barrel. Very good beer. I wish I knew how old it actually was or had had it fresh to give a better appraisal. The age was definitely to its advantage.
