A- Pours a think velvety dark brown that sits black in the glass. A small dense head of mocha foam. Head quickly dissolves, not much lacing.
S- A very inviting aroma of smooth roasted coffee and mild chocolate. Some slightly dark burnt notes.
T- Mild cold coffee with some sweet chocolate notes upfront that fade to a lingering bittersweet flavor. There is a distinct smokiness in the finish. Some burnt nuttiness. An interesting blend of flavors that meld well.
M- Medium bodied. There is some residual bitterness but is rather subdued and fits well, not overpowering. After continual sipping body does become a bit watery vs. initial tastes. Wet and mild throughout.
D- No alc detected. Very easy to drink. A good overall brew that hits the price point well (~$6). I would have liked a little more body but this brew does highlight certain flavors well.

The beer comes in a black color with a creamy tan head.
The aroma is lovely with tons of chocolate and espresso, roasted malt. Almost like a fresh coffee smell.
The flavor follows with espresso and some bittersweet chocolate. The flavor doesn't linger long on the tongue with sweetness. It's a quite easy finish. It really is aggressive with the coffee, which is wonderful.
The highlight of this beer is the lovely creamy mouthfeel and drinkability.
The alcohol is extremely well hidden.
Having had an older bottle of this along with fresh on tap, the older still had that pop of coffee and did not die out.
