Poured into a glass mug.

A: Cloudy golden yellow with lots of tiny particles and a one-finger, white, foamy head that lasted a couple minutes and left a nice film. Great lacing.

S: Citrus, grapefruit, pine, malt.

T: Moderate sweetness and moderate bitterness. Grapefruit rind and alcohol.

M: Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Oily, metallic and dry.

O: The mouthfeel really killed it for me. Too dry and metallic.

Poured into a Due South Brewing Co. snifter. There's a freshness code stamped on the bottleneck but it's smeared and unreadable.

A- Pours a hazy dark amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick bubbly ring around the edge of the glass and some small bubbly patches of surface foam. Tight clusters of semi-resilient lacing.

S- Musty, earthy hop aroma. Smells like New Zealand hops but I'm not sure.

T- Similarly earthy in the flavor with a bit of citrus on top. Zesty hop bitterness is assertive yet enjoyable. Easy drinking for the ABV.

M- Tingly and bright with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.

O- A very smooth and flavorful DIPA. I only got a single but I should've picked up a 4- or 6-pack.
