Got this on tap from the Cloverleaf Tavern.
A: pours a hazy, golden body with a frothy, silky white head with pretty nice retention and nice lacing along the glass until the finish.
S: A sweet citrus smell with some hints of cascade and slight hallertau hops. Some alcohol undertones were also evident.
T: A strong, bitter hop taste with some alcohol undertones. An earthy, warming aftertaste with slight, citrus notes. Alcohol becomes more evident as the beer begins to warm up.
M: A crisp and fairly refreshing and pretty smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Nice mouthfeel on the palette.
D: Nice mouthfeel and taste combination and a nice, drinkable, double IPA. A pretty nice beer overall, despite the alcohol making itself slightly overbearing as the beer warmed up. A nice drinking beer for the cooler, fall and winter months with a slightly warming affect from the alcohol.

1 Pint, 6 oz bottle poured into a glass.
A: Cloudy burnt orange color. Beautiful for an IPA. Practically no head at all.
S: Nice hop aroma with a little bit of pine scent as well.
T: Love the fairly high IBU count (86). Nice hop taste with a little bit of sweetness. Unfortunately, they didn't balance the hop taste with the alcohol taste.
M: Carbonation is fine but the alcohol taste is not masked as much as it should be.
O: One of the best Double IPAs I've had. I picked this up for just $3.99. I would spend that on this any day of the week.
