This came on tap at the pig in Malvern. It was a bit lighter than other doubles i've seen, but still cloudy and gold.
It had a fairly thick, foaming head which resulted in very persistent lacing. Smell wasn't very strong or particularly unique, just regular hops.
It was somewhat bitter and watered down compared to other doubles as well, but still very tasty. I could sense lemony, grapefruit hints on the way down.
Overall, an enjoyable beer.

1 Pint, 6 oz bottle poured into a glass.
A: Cloudy burnt orange color. Beautiful for an IPA. Practically no head at all.
S: Nice hop aroma with a little bit of pine scent as well.
T: Love the fairly high IBU count (86). Nice hop taste with a little bit of sweetness. Unfortunately, they didn't balance the hop taste with the alcohol taste.
M: Carbonation is fine but the alcohol taste is not masked as much as it should be.
O: One of the best Double IPAs I've had. I picked this up for just $3.99. I would spend that on this any day of the week.
