Slightly hazy yellow gold. Long lived creamy head that gives up a lot of interesting looking lace. A very handsome brew.
Big bitter hops with a juicy sweet character. Very resinous, plenty of pine. Interesting drinking. Lots of hops happening, but not a brutal hop assault. Grapefruit rind lingers on the palate. Mouth feel still rather soft, not a lot of carbonation - just enough.
Enjoyable, worth a try.

Had in can and into a glass, a light golden colour with pretty white lacing. Aroma has plenty of citrus grapefruit aromas, some balanced malt profile, lemon and citrus hops, quite resiny hop profile. Taste is more along the pine profile, some bitter grapefruit as well. Quite a nice summer session pale ale, well hopped with a flavourful piney profile, hop driven flavour with a fairly simple pine resin dynamic but a quite tasty session option.

Amber gold with heavy suspended sediment and snotty (!) yeast chunks. Looks like a hefeweizen, only darker. Big sticky head with good retention and lacing.
Very tropical aroma with pineapple and guava. Light undertone of crackery malts.
Off-dry, hoppy taste with lightly bitter pine up front leading into more tropical fruity notes. Fairly light flavor profile, emphasis on drinkability with a very simple malt base and no toffee/caramel flavors.
Medium-thin, lightly carbonated, maybe a little watery.
Dry, highly drinkable pale ale with moderate bitterness and hop-forward balance. Very little malt presence. Good if unexceptional.

473ml can into nonic pint. enjoyed on june 27, 2014, canned like 2-3 weeks ago i think
a: a golden orange kinda thing, like an overripe mango. three fingers of creamy head with good retention and decent lacing
s: a floyd mayweather jr. punch of ripe mangoes. slight sweet orange, pineapple, grapefruit, and malt, but mangoes are the showcase here. not a complex aroma but smells tropical and wonderful. i'm drooling
t: there's kind of a moderate leafy hop bitterness from when the beer hits your tongue to the finish, which is what i notice first. but in the foreground is really just an assault of sweet mangoes, some pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and slight lemon. pine and hints of caramel malt towards the end. finshes dry. this is delicious
m: light-to-medium body, somewhat creamy. mild carbonation
o: i waited way too long to try this one. what a terrific pale ale. it's very fruity and tropical but it's also very well balanced
