Conceived by Mike at Great Lakes for the Project X On the Road tasting tour. Sampled at Chancey Smith's in London, ON. Pours a cloudy and hazed yellow/orange with a ring of white head and speckles of lacing on the pint glass. Smell and flavour are mango, pineapple, tangelo, grapefruit, juicy pale malts, cookie dough, and a biting, fruity hop acidity to finish. Very much in the West Coast tradition, with a weak malt profile that really lets the hops come forward. Alcohol is untraceable. Medium-bodied mouthfeel is crisp, spicy, bitter, and refreshing. A dry, citrusy aftertaste sticks to the palate, showcasing the 70 IBUs. One of the best DIPAs that I've tasted to date. Thanks Mike!

Cask at Project X on the road, Chancey Smith's- Very cloudy and hazy straw, pours a sticky and billowing bleached white cap. Nose has a blast of fresh hops. Pine, grapefruit, lemon, spruce. Add some mango and a bit of pineapple. Tastes the same, with loads of grapefruit pith and piney hops. I think this was 70 IBU, but it seemed much higher. Pretty much stripped my tastebuds and for that I was grateful to just drink this the rest of the night. Full bodied, creamy, a bit oily, lovely astringent finish. I had the hop burps for some time. Very well done Mike, thanks
