Bomber from the Ottawa LCBO for $6

Appearance - Slightly hazy gold colour with an average size white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some fair lacing. The head lasted for around 5 minutes before it was gone.

Smell - Malts, hops, apricot, grapefruit

Taste & Mouth - There is an above average amount of carbonation and I can taste malts, caramel, and resiny hops. There is also some grapefruit and a touch of apricot.

Overall - Needs a touch more of a fruity flavour to be truly great. Still a very solid and very hoppy beer worth trying if you're an American IPA fan.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden yellow with solid two fingers of bubbly white head.
Aroma is big on citrus hops - orange, tangerine - some mango and a bit of pine and floral note with a caramel like malt backing.
Relatively sweet on the palate - caramel malt, tangerine, citrus, a little floral and tropical - not overtly bitter but there is a bit of a spicy bite admixed with a boozy kick.
Medium full mouthfeel - nicely carbonated with a just a touch of boozy heat - a simple (in a good way) easy drinking IPA.

LooK: Pours a bright pale opaque yellow. Fluffy 1 1/2 finger white head with great lasting power. Still strong with great lace after 5 minutes.

Smell: Sweet with nectarines, peaches, passion fruit and mango. Definate floral aspects as well, with hints of pine and a slight sourdough bread note to round things off.

Taste: More tropical east coast then west, but with a floral underbelly stealing the show. Hard for me to describe. Lets just say all the expected characters from a GLB IPA make a show, ie) grapefruit, tangerines, mango, pine, but this beer is very jambalaya like in so much as the flavours blend into each other so well.

Feel: Medium to Full bodied. Very crisp with a great dry finish. plays both on the tongue and palate.

I love this beer. After HazeMama it is my favourite GLB IPA, and that is a high bar give all the great IPA'S they put out. A solid A.

winter is coming.....oh wait...it’s here....darn...
Will this beer get us through those Edmund Fitzgeraldeqsue storms?
let’s see...
Pours beautifully golden orange with fine collar and just enough opaquey goodness.
A fruity nose of orange and citrus awaits with subtle love.
taste is caramel pineapple sweet with little aftertaste. An excellent finish on this one.
Bring on those lake effect streamers and enjoy this one winter, spring, summer or fall ironically!
Another fine job by Great Lakes!

Enjoyed from a 473 ml tall boy can. It smells and tastes floral to me, but my spouse said it smells lemon to her. It has a bitter and somewhat sour aftertaste. Potent. I liked hoppy bitterness, but this beer was not entirely what I expected.

Golden and clear with lots of small bubbles, and topped with a finger of white head.

Smells of tropical fruit, mangos, papaya, orchids, pine and caramel.

The taste follows the nose but is much richer in tropical fruit, floral notes and pine. Amazing taste. Catnip and green herbs, as well as a solid but not overpowering bitterness.

Medium body, medium carbonation, and covers the ABV very well.

Got at LCBO, really loving this brew March 30th 2018 in New Hamburg, ON. Reminds me of Lagunitas Sucks, and Phantom Bride.
