This is a nice version of dry Irish stout with malted chocolatey mocha flavor. The nose and taste are similar and both quite nice. The appearance is deep ruby/black with a beautiful tan head and nice lacing in a standard pint. Mouthfeel is nice and thick with a chewiness that allows the flavor to linger with every sip. Much like the giants of the style: Guinness, Murphys, Beamish; it is surprisingly sessionable due to the relatively lower caloric content despite a full bodied taste. Cheers to Marty and Ben for a nice offering.

Serving type: nitro-tap
