With thanks to Arjen, I was able to try this beer. Arjen brought his beer to a tasting organized by Fiona de Lange (the Dutch beer lady) at 'de Molen'.

A - a golden haze with a white head.

S - A faint citrus smell that comes along with the sour.

T - A very fresh tasting sour with a great complexity.

M - A medium carbonation.

O - I am not a sour beer fan. That is way the scores are this low I guess, but this sour I would love to try it again!

1992 geuze.

Golden bronze color. Still.

Has some sweetness to it from it being pasteurized. Similar to a faro. Caramel and sugary sweet. Some funk. Not very sour or tart. A little oxidized.

Light bodied. Fairly low carbonation.

Very enjoyable beer. Fun to drive.

Pour is transparent golden yellow with an off white head, tight small bubbles, and slightly creamy looking. The nose is a dry dusty funkk, cob webbs, very earthy with notes of soil. The fruit is behind, apricot is bright, very ripe and juicy smelling. The taste has lots of cob webb and bretty type funk. dry and earthy mid palate, lots of juicy fruits behind. apricots and peaches are assertive and bright with a nice sourness to balance. The body is a touch syrupy but balanced by a strong carbontion and dry finish.
