Reviewed from notes and sampled at the brewery. The pour was deep black in color topped with a nice tight brown head. Nice roastiness to the nose. Flavor eases in, starting off light and then the roastiness hits. Coffe like. The body and mouthfeel are nice, chalky, roasty, and slightly puckery. The finish is long and dry. Best offering of the lot.

12 ounce bottle. Pours out nearly black with a creamy looking brown head. Unlike the other reviewers of this beer, I think it had a great roasted aroma. The flavor is roasted malts with berries and some sweetness. There is just a little bit of a sour taste that I did not care for, but it didn't ruin the beer for me. High level of carbonation gives it a nice drinkability. No sign of the 5% alcohol. A nice oatmeal stout.

Mostly black but framed in purple, adorned with a proud, tan, gelato head.
Nestle syrup aroma. All chocolate and sweet. Gains grainy astrignency and oats as it sits.
Enters oily and chocolatey. Never full-bore roasty. Never even close. Just a sweetened milky chocolate. Turns even sweeter with cola terms. Berry nuance sweetens things even more and provides an odd tartness. Oats stake out midway and add their lightly earthy softness. Berries continue to linger. Ends with a revisit of chocolate.
Thinnish and greasy. A little heft could meld this, I think. Either that or turn it into some sort of choco-berry shake.
It needs more roast.

Black with a ruby red tint...tan lace....big Java aroma....Extremely thin and watery and the mouthfeel limits the top-end of this beer. The taste is decent with the noted java accents the primary flavor, but also some dark cocoa and some real subdued oatmeal...It has that creamy texture of an outmeal, but really doesn't taste like one...I see this as more of a sweet stout...a thin sweeet stout with the oatmeal creaminess combined with some good java notes....an average stout at best.

This beer pours damn near black with a creamy tan head. Roasted chocolate aroma. Nice. There's a nice java taste. Roasted nut and chocolate tones also present. Nice silky mouthfeel. This is a good oatmeal stout.
